Designathon Works (DW)
Leading Partner
Designathon Works is a global movement empowering children aged 6 –12 to become changemakers for a better world. Using our unique Designathon method, combining design thinking, STEM, and sustainability, we empower children to invent bold solutions to real-world challenges. Each workshop is linked to a key social and environmental theme, and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, nurturing critical skills like creativity, problem-solving, and global citizenship. Since 2014, we’ve activated over 200.000 children and 5.000 teachers in 59 countries. Through school programs, global events, and community partnerships, we champion children as powerful co-designers of a just, inclusive, and sustainable future.

KidHub
KidHub is an educational and social innovation center whose mission is to ensure that every child becomes a creator. We design learning environments where children and young people actively learn through design, play, experimentation, and collaboration, connecting education with real social and environmental challenges. We believe in participatory, inclusive, and sustainable learning that strengthens creativity, critical thinking, and responsibility toward the community and nature. KidHub’s focus is on non-formal education for children and youth (ages 6 - 18), capacity building for teachers and youth workers, and linking education with sustainable development, design thinking, and maker culture. Our key themes include child participation, climate change, school gardens, science playgrounds, and learning in and with nature. Core activities include Designathon programs in schools and kindergartens, educational and maker workshops, training for teachers and youth workers, development of educational tools and methodologies, and international Erasmus+ projects. Through the Platform for Innovation in Environmental Education and intergenerational programs, KidHub builds learning communities at local, regional, and European levels.
